On the streets of the Ukrainian capital, fragments of the PAC-3 CRI and PAC-3 MSE interceptor missiles of the American MIM-104F Patriot air defense system were found. This is the most modern modification of the American air defense complex. It was he who, in all likelihood, became the target of the Russian Kinzhal missile last night.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed that on the night of May 15-16, as a result of a Russian Kinzhal missile strike, an American-made Patriot air defense system was hit.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a concentrated attack on the points of deployment of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on the places of storage of ammunition, weapons and military equipment delivered by Western countries. Recall that the Russian army struck at the location of the Patriot air defense system after running out of ammunition. In all likelihood, fragments of missiles of the American air defense system were found on the streets of Kyiv.
At the same time, military experts drew attention to the fact that the missiles, which, apparently, were photographed by eyewitnesses, are designed to counter, among other things, ballistic missiles. For example, one of the images shows a PAC-3 CRI interceptor missile.
Another photo shows a block with dynamic gas rudders of an anti-aircraft guided missile PAC – 3 MSE.
This is another proof of the delivery of the latest models of American Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
We add that the Russian Ministry of Defense also announced the interception of seven British Storm Shadow missiles at once.
