Austin (USA). Elon Musk on Tuesday dismissed speculation that he may step down as Tesla’s chief executive officer (CEO). At the company’s annual meeting of shareholders, he said the electric car and solar panel company will now start doing some advertising.
When asked this question by a shareholder, Musk said that he is not leaving the post of Tesla’s chief. However, he did not discuss it further. Another shareholder suggested that Tesla should do some advertising now. On this, Musk said that he is ready for this. It is noteworthy that Tesla avoids paying for advertising like its rivals.
This is because Musk is able to promote the company for free. The number of his followers on Twitter is 140 million. Last year, he acquired Twitter in a $44 billion deal.
