Palghar: Dead body of missing woman found hanging from tree

Palghar (Maharashtra). The body of a 22-year-old woman, missing since last week, has been found hanging from a tree in Palghar district of Maharashtra. Police gave this information on Wednesday. Police said that the woman, a resident of Vada taluka of Kopri village, used to work in a farm house.

An official of Wada police station said that she had gone to work at the farmhouse on May 9, but did not return home. When the woman could not be traced, the family members lodged a missing complaint with the police. The woman’s body was found hanging from a tree in the village on Monday, the official said. His hair was cut.

He said that the police have just registered a case of accidental death. Investigation is on to find out whether it is a case of suicide or there is a conspiracy in it.
