The head of the Ministry of Digital Development announced that the register of persons liable for military service will work for the autumn draft

The unified register of persons liable for military service will start working by the autumn draft, said Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development.

“It will go quickly, I think. As they said, for the fall call, we planned to fly,” TASS quoted him as saying.

The digital register was created to provide information support for military registration in Russia. Its database will contain information about a citizen, including passport data, education and work information, and health status. Data is entered there on the summonses sent and received by the Russians. The unified register of persons liable for military service will be constantly updated with updated information.

In the middle of last month, the lower house of parliament passed a final reading of a bill creating a unified register of those subject to military service. According to the text of the bill, the summonses are duplicated in electronic form. They can also be sent to citizens in writing against receipt or by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
