African countries that propose a peace initiative in Ukraine, before their visit to Moscow and Kiev, want to receive guarantees of a temporary ceasefire in the Donbass, reports Jeune Afrique.
It is specified that within the framework of the peacekeeping mission, the leaders of the African States will go first to Kyiv, and will go to Moscow.
“There is no doubt that they will go there for tourism,” said a French businessman and president of the Brazzaville Foundation, an independent non-profit organization that prepares the visit of African leaders to Russia and in Ukraine.
The day before, it became known that South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he intended to come to Ukraine.
