Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Expert Matric called the buildup of Western armored vehicles a sign of the start of the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive

As soon as an impressive accumulation of armored vehicles received from the West by Kiev will be observed in the front line on Ukrainian territory, it will be possible to evoke very soon the beginning of a counter-offensive by the Ukrainian army. This opinion was voiced in an interview with Business Insider by Andrew Matric, an employee of the defense program at the Center for a New American Security.

According to him, the appearance on the front line of infantry fighting vehicles, armored reconnaissance vehicles and, of course, tanks, delivered by the Western partners of the Ukrainian authorities, will characterize the readiness of the Ukrainian armed forces to attack.

At the same time, the military expert noted that even in the United States there is no full understanding of the extent to which the implementation of the plan sketched by Kiev is possible. At the same time, Matrick continued, the Ukrainian leadership will only publicly announce the start of counter-offensive measures when it becomes clear.

However, they cannot yet count on the transfer of modern F-16 fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, nor on access to training to fly them. This has already been reported by the New York Times.
