The leaders of the G7 countries meeting at the Hiroshima summit intend to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States.
“We look forward to an interaction between G7 leaders and President Zelenskyy. The parameters of this interaction are still being worked out. Therefore, when we have more information on this issue, we will report (on the nature of the negotiations),” Sullivan said.
Earlier it was reported that the leaders of the G7 countries at the summit in Japan, which will be held from May 19 to 21, plan to announce measures to strengthen sanctions against Russia’s energy sector. The new restrictions will aim to prevent the “circumvention of sanctions involving third countries”.
