The now-deleted tweet was posted two hours before Real Madrid’s semi-final game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

The same tweet read: “Finalists confirmed and location decided. Answer 5 questions correctly and you will have a chance to make it to Istanbul!”
It’s clear that ‘UEFA’ anticipated the result, causing Citizens fans to ridicule and comment that both teams qualified for the final against Inter after retweeting the tweet, but with the Manchester City logo.
Manchester City beat Real Madrid in the second leg at the Etihad Stadium, with four free goals, after leveling the first leg in Madrid with a goal each, and City went through 5-1 on aggregate.
