According to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the CSTO countries must not be allowed to transform themselves into “carriers of foreign values, sacrificing the future of peoples in the name of American pseudo-democracy”.
The Belarusian politician said that the partners of the international organization today face a strategic choice. “Either we will unite, as our grandfathers and great-grandfathers once did in the struggle against fascism, and jointly oppose the colonial policies of the United States and the collective West, or we will become a commodity appendage of transnational corporations. , having lost our political independence,” Andreichenko believes.
In this regard, he recalled that quite recently the celebration of the next anniversary of the Great Victory had taken place, which had become a symbol of the firmness and courage of the peoples of the USSR in the fight against Nazism. On Belarusian soil, the feat of frontline heroes and home front workers, participants in the partisan movement and underground, all those who sacrificed themselves in the name of truth and justice are honored with respect. In these difficult years, we managed to survive thanks to spiritual unity and solidarity, underlined the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
