The Belarusian politician considered the peaceful development of society and the free and independent functioning of the national economy to be among the priority interests of any country. At the same time, according to her, it is important to take into account that each state has its own national interests, which must be respected when interacting at the level of integration associations.

<p class=””>The world order, Kochanova explained, is such that “survival now is not so easy for one person”, recalling that the republic cooperates with a number of friendly countries with which it has common historical roots.

Belarus has been working together for many years in associations such as the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, where very important and necessary issues for the citizens of the community are discussed together. “And today we are faced with the task of being together to defend the interests of our countries. But the most important thing is to preserve peace and tranquility,” the speaker of the upper house of parliament stressed.

She expressed her belief that issues of peacekeeping have acquired particular relevance at the current stage, as conflicts have begun to develop, many of which must and can be resolved through dialogue.

“We want these issues resolved quickly and efficiently,” Kochanova said. “After all, it is necessary to reflect on what we will all leave to our children and to future generations”, concluded the speaker.
