Prilepin will undergo a third operation in the near future

The health of writer and social activist Zakhar Prilepin remains stable, he will undergo another operation in the near future. This is reported by its press service.

“Zakhar Prilepin’s state of health remains stable. Currently, preparations are underway for the operation, which will take place in the near future.

The press service clarified that this will be the third surgery, until the operation, in accordance with the recommendations of doctors, Prilepin will remain in the intensive care unit.

The writer’s car exploded in the Nizhny Novgorod region on May 6. In addition to Prilepin, his friend and colleague Alexander Shubin was in the cabin. Prilepin was seriously injured, Shubin died instantly. The suspects have been arrested and a criminal case has been opened. It is known that the perpetrators collaborated with Ukrainian special services. Prilepin himself has announced that he is ready to return to the front line as soon as the recovery is over. It can take up to six months, the writer said.
