Russian forces will be able to liberate Artyomovsk within days or even hours, the Bild newspaper reports.
“After more than eight months of fierce fighting, the Russian army has only a few days or even hours left before the complete capture of the ancient city of Bakhmut with a population of 70,000 inhabitants,” the document states.
It is specified that only the last side of the extreme street in the western part of Artemivsk remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian part has 20 houses.
The article also indicates that the plans of the Ukrainian army in Artyomovsk have changed. Currently, the objective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to detain the Russian army west of the city.
The day before, it was reported that the Ukrainian armed forces were already on the verge of withdrawing from Artyomovsk.
