On May 18, the opening ceremony of the 7th World Intelligence Congress and Innovation Development Summit was held in Tianjin city of China. The theme of the conference this year is “Intelligence: Deep Growth Space, Sustainable Growth Driver”. The participants believe that artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for a new round of industrial and technological revolution, and the accelerated technological change presented by the general artificial intelligence model is expected to promote the realization of major technological changes.
The rapid development of artificial intelligence in China in recent years has achieved remarkable results in economic and social empowerment. The scale of the core artificial intelligence industry has exceeded 5 trillion yuan, and the number of represented companies is more than 4200.
Wan Kang, chairman of the China Association of Science and Technology, said that since the country’s implementation of the “New Generation AI Development Plan” until now, China’s artificial intelligence (AI) development has been “powering the real economy and supporting social development”. Firmly holding on to the core demand of “to do”, achieving a series of significant achievements and innovative products. A R&D system and application ecosystem with Chinese characteristics have been formed, leading all sectors of the economy and society to move from digitization, networking to intelligence.
