The Russian president indicated that the West has directed almost everything in its arsenal against Russia, and that the attacks on its values continue and do not stop.
Vladimir Putin added that opponents of Russia were staging provocations within Russian nationalist circles and declaring the need to “decolonize Russia”, stressing the need to divide it into states and dozens of smaller parts.
According to Putin, opponents of Russia do everything they can to sow division and discord among the peoples residing on the territory of Russia.
The Russian president said: “The plurality of nationalities in Russia represents its all-conquering power,” reports Russia Today, citing agencies.
Putin pointed out that “children from all peoples of Russia are taking part in the special military operation”, noting that many of them “won orders and medals for their heroism and exploits there”.
Putin had accused the West of waging all-out war against Russia with the aim of destroying it, in his speech marking the anniversary of Victory Day over Nazi Germany.
The Russian President said that the world is at a critical moment and that a new war is being waged today against Russia with the aim of dismantling it, and stressed that the future of the Russian state depends on the participants to the special military operation in Ukraine.
Putin accused Western elites of inciting people against each other and provoking bloody conflicts, stressing that arrogance and boundless ambitions will inevitably turn into tragedies.
