A statement carried by the Qatar News Agency said: “Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the country’s emir, has left the city of Jeddah in the sister kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after leading the country’s delegation participating in the work of the thirty-first ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit.”
The statement added: “The Prince sent a telegram to each of his brothers, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in which he expressed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the hospitality and generosity that he and the delegation accompanying him experienced during his participation in the work of the thirty-second ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, hoping that its results will contribute to strengthening joint Arab action for the benefit of the Arab peoples, asking God to grant the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince a good health and well-being, and that it will bring more progress and prosperity to the Kingdom.
The Emir of the State of Qatar arrived in Jeddah earlier today on Friday to attend the 32nd Arab Summit.
