The wealth of Sunak and his wife declines in 2023. What is the reason?

As prime minister, Sunak is entitled to an annual salary of around 165,000 pounds ($208,246). His fortune has grown from around £730m last year to £529m in 2023.

Inflation has reached double digits and wages are not rising as fast, leading to falling household incomes and a headline-grabbing cost of living crisis. Sunak pledged to halve inflation and expand the economy to solve the problem.
