Baghpat (UP). A 35-year-old woman of a village in Doghat area of Baghpat district was allegedly gang-raped by four youths of her village on the pretext of getting her a job.
On the Tahrir of the victim woman, the police have registered a case against the accused youths and started investigating the incident. Police station Doghat in-charge Nand Kishore said that the woman had filed a complaint against four youths of her own village, Saurabh, Kamal, Shubham and Sagar, to get government jobs. According to the victim, on February 14, the accused had assured her of getting a government job.
Ten days later, the accused came to her house and fed her a cold drink laced with drugs and then allegedly gang-raped her. According to the complaint, the accused also made a video of the incident and threatened that if anyone spoke about it If mentioned, the video will be made viral. It is alleged that after this the accused raped the woman several times by threatening her. The station in-charge said that the incident is being investigated and further action will be taken on the basis of evidence.
