The Foreign Ministry representative also noted the organization’s double standards. If the members of the Council are in favor of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, it was not difficult for them to neglect this vis-à-vis Serbia, by starting the procedure for joining the organization of the Kosovo not recognized.
Zakharova also confirmed that any attempt to “punish” Russia would be considered null and void and would only lead to further escalation of tensions on the continent.
