Amit Shah will leave for a two-day tour of Gujarat today, will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects.

Ahmedabad. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will leave for a two-day visit to his home state Gujarat on Saturday. During this, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several projects in the state and participate in various programs in Devbhoomi Dwarka, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.Shah will lay the foundation stone of the permanent campus of National Coastal Policing Academy (NACP) at Okha in Devbhoomi Dwarka district on Saturday.

The NACP, the country’s first national academy, trains police forces for effective protection of the coastline. It started functioning from the premises of the Gujarat Fisheries Research Center in 2018. The Gujarat Frontier of the Border Security Force (BSF) said in a release issued on Friday that the NACP has been set up in nine coastal states and five union territories as well as To provide intensive and high level training to Marine Police of Central Police Forces.

According to the release, Shah will also inaugurate five coastal outposts through online medium, which are among the 18 such outposts being built between Medi and Jakhau in Kutch district at a cost of Rs 164 crore. It added that the Home Minister in Gandhinagar Will participate in four programs on Saturday and Sunday.

According to officials, on Saturday Shah would attend a program in which he would distribute sports material to students of a primary school in Borij village. He informed that the Home Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. He will also attend a cricket match organized in Gandhinagar (North) assembly seat.

According to officials, Shah will start the operation of 320 buses of the State Road Transport Corporation on Sunday. He will also inaugurate the modern biological testing laboratory of Amulfed Dairy in Gandhinagar. Officials said that on the second day of the Gujarat tour, Shah will inaugurate a national convention of the Modi community in Ahmedabad. They said that the Home Minister will also inaugurate a gymnasium in Ahmedabad’s Naranpura ward and He will also inaugurate the library and a redeveloped lake in Chharori village.
