The extension of anti-Russian sanctions due to a special military operation is being prepared in Japan, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency

As the Japanese news agency Kyodo writes, about 180 more Russian citizens, as well as organizations and companies, can be added to the “banned” list. According to the agency, which quotes an informed government source, we can speak of sanctions against about 100 Russian natural and legal persons involved in circumventing the sanctions previously imposed, as well as an export ban against about 80 related legal entities. in the military sphere.

Remember that Hiroshima hosts the summit of the G7 countries (USA, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Canada). As expected, decisions regarding Russia will be made here. Even a total export ban is not excluded. However, although there is no such agreement – not all the leaders of the G7 countries are ready for the “hara-kiri” of their own economy.

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has previously said that while the G7 countries still decide to introduce a total ban on the export of goods to Russia, the import of goods “in the most sensitive for the G7” will stop automatically.
