Finance Minister orders ‘Bank of Sudan’ to pay salaries of state employees

The finance minister has demanded that salaries be paid by Central Bank branches in the states, which will pay current transfers to the states with the same value as last March.

Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, Ahmed Al-Sharif, confirmed that the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan has ordered the branches of the Central Bank of Sudan in the states to pay the wages of the workers for the month of April, in response and based on the speech of the Minister of Finance, in addition to securing cash withdrawals for branches of state commercial banks.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance estimated that the payment of workers’ salaries for the month of April would help meet their basic needs and stimulate demand in markets and production sectors, in addition to the work of workers. bank branches in contributing states to return economic activity to the country.
