Karnataka CM oath: Siddaramaiah will take oath as CM today, DK Shivakumar will become Deputy Chief Minister

Internet Desk. Siddaramaiah will take oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka today after getting a clear majority in the Karnataka assembly elections and the name of the CM being decided. Along with him, DK Shivakumar will also take oath as Deputy Chief Minister. Earlier on Friday, both the leaders reached Delhi and invited all the Congress leaders to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Information is also being received that both the leaders have gone after discussing who should be included in the cabinet and who should not be included. After which today, along with the oath of both the leaders, some MLAs joining the cabinet will also be administered the oath of office and secrecy.

The results of the Karnataka assembly elections came on 13 May. In this, Congress has won 135 seats. At the same time, BJP has won 66 seats and JDS has won 19 seats. On the other hand, after a long churning in Delhi, Siddaramaiah has been handed over the Chief Minister’s chair.
