Sri Lanka Navy seizes boat with 120 kg of narcotics

Colombo: A fishing boat carrying over 120 kg of narcotics has been seized off the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The Navy here gave this information on Thursday. A press release issued by the Navy stated that on May 13, approximately 111.6 kg of heroin and approximately 10.2 kg of hashish were found in a local fishing boat. Thereafter, a special operation was carried out about 413 nautical miles south of Dondra, Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, six suspects were taken into custody.
