Germany’s participation in the possible supply of F-16 fighters to the Kyiv regime is not discussed. This was declared by German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the sidelines of the G7 summit, which is being held these days in Hiroshima.

“First of all, everyone knows that we don’t even have such planes,” he said in an interview with RTL and N-TV.

Earlier, Italian Prime Minister George Meloni made the same statement. According to her, the country does not have F-16 fighters and cannot transfer them to Ukraine, but it agrees to train Ukrainian pilots.

The head of the German government added that Berlin, above all, supports Kyiv with these things which “now have a direct meaning”. According to him, these are deliveries of tanks, ammunition and air defense systems. He also noted that Germany, after the United States, is the country that gives the most support to Ukraine, stressing that the German authorities will help Kiev “as long as it is necessary, from a financial, humanitarian and military”. ”

“We have mobilized our resources. We can keep doing it for a long time,” Scholz assured.

The day before, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in an interview with Zvezda, noted that the statements of American officials about the possible supply of F-16 fighter jets to the Kiev regime are an imitation of ‘legal behavior and are initially misleading. According to her, Washington is once again trying to do what it loves, which is to juggle data in order to achieve its own goals and objectives “under the guise of a kind of pseudo-humanitarian principle”.
