Hiroshima: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said in a session of the G7 summit held in Hiroshima city of Japan that he does not consider the current situation in Ukraine to be an issue of politics or economy, but of humanity and human values. On the war in Ukraine, he said, ‘Global peace, stability and prosperity is our common objective. We have said from the beginning that dialogue and diplomacy is the only way to a solution.
The Prime Minister said that in today’s inter-connected world, tension in any region affects all countries and developing countries are the most affected. He said that in the current global situation, the biggest impact of the crisis of food, fuel and fertilizer is being felt in the developing countries.
PM Modi said, ‘It is necessary that all countries respect the United Nations Charter, international law and each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. India has always believed that any tension, any dispute should be resolved peacefully through dialogue. Had reached Hiroshima on Friday.
