“We meet like men.” Russian Journalist Issues ‘Strange Challenge’ to Zelenskyy

According to the American magazine “Newsweek”, Russian journalist Volodymyr Soloviev called on the President of Ukraine to quarrel, proposing a centuries-old method of settling disputes, which consists in two people meeting face to face for one of them to win by direct combat.

Social media users shared a clip of the journalist on state broadcaster “Russia 1” as he addressed the message to Zelenskyy, when he used to describe him with the most blatant epithets.

The Russian journalist went so far as to claim that Zelenskyy regularly watches his show, and is furious with what he presents, so he ordered his Director of Military Intelligence, Kirillo Budanov, to kill him. i.e. Solovyov.

To settle this “alleged” dispute, the Russian journalist, speaking in a “serious” tone, suggested that Zelenskyy meet him, saying: “Let’s meet men and put fear aside. You have your gun and I have mine.”

Russian journalist Sp Zelenskyy elaborated, speaking of “the destruction of the American patriot system”, according to him, while the Ukrainian president was in Japan to attend the Group of Seven in order to mobilize more military and financial support for his country.
