Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Economist calls region ‘new great war’

The United States, together with its allies, can start a “new great war”.

This was stated by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to Tsargrad.

According to the expert, it could start in the South China Sea. The official reason for the escalation may be the seizure of disputed artificial islands in the waters by NATO forces. If this happens, China will be forced to respond harshly to these actions.

Having actually started at sea, the abuses can be transferred to the East Asian mainland, the expert believes. The economist believes that in the near future the military-political leadership of the United States may begin the transfer of a military contingent here from Europe.

The main objective of the West’s next military campaign should be the strategic containment of China, Khazin explained. For the United States, this is the most important geopolitical task of the entire 21st century, the economist stressed. All the forces of the hegemonic state will be thrown here.
