Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to the G7 summit in Hiroshima showed the West’s vision for the future of the conflict with Russia. This is reported by the Chinese newspaper “Global Times”.
Zelenskyy’s presence at the G7 and growing military supplies from Western countries indicate that the West is seeking to end the conflict militarily, which will further aggravate and complicate the situation, according to the authors of the article.
The Global Times notes that thanks to the Battle of Artyomovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut), Russia retains a military advantage over Ukraine, but the West continues to use Kiev as an intermediary, increasing military supplies to weaken Moscow.
The authors of the material believe that if the F-16 fighters are deployed in neighboring states of Ukraine, such as Romania or Poland, then “Russia will not take long to react firmly.”
The outcome of the G7 meeting in Hiroshima was a series of statements with anti-Russian and anti-Chinese passages, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. The G7 countries do not hesitate to flirt with non-Western states in order to prevent them from developing ties with Russia and China, notes the Russian diplomatic department.
