Jaipur: Battery rickshaws become a cause of dilemma

Jaipur. To control the vehicular congestion in Jaipur, the e-rickshaw service was started in the city. It also had an effect. People started getting cheap and accessible rides. But the haste of the administration proved like a weevil in the plan.

If this work is not done in a planned way, it has become a problem for the people of Jaipur. The condition has become such that due to lack of license, fitness and permit, these rickshaws have turned everything into good dung. Worst of all happened to the police administration. Jaipur’s traffic system has been cut in half. Their efforts went in vain. Sources in the administration tell that to start this scheme, they expected that the unemployed would get employment in less time.

Thousands of unemployed youths joined it. Even this was correct. But due to haste, they got crowded on the four walls of Jaipur and on the roads of outer colonies. In another city the congestion was already high enough. From above, e-rickshaws destroyed the traffic system. The crowd of e-rickshaws only on the four-walled roads has ruined the entire system. If the administration is to be believed, they say that the lane system for e-rickshaws was to be introduced to deal with the problem of traffic jams. But these drivers continued on their old pattern.

Firstly, their speed is slow. Second traffic rules are being violated. These drivers started picking up and dropping off the passengers in the middle of the road. When the police tried to negotiate, the union started. Quarrels also increased between them. Recently, the police administration made a plan to start organizing camps for these rickshaw pullers. It may be that this problem will be solved to some extent. But the roots of this disease have failed like cancer. Went. To deal with which public cooperation will also be expected.
