On a truck.. Ukraine uses machine gun “Apache” to track down drones

The US National Defense website said the anti-aircraft weapon will help boost Ukraine’s capabilities to deal with Russian drones.

Virginia-based defense firm Northrop Grumman developed the “Agnostic Gun Truck”, which is a small truck carrying a 30mm caliber M230 machine gun.

This machine gun is currently used in the Apache attack helicopter.

And the US Department of Defense confirmed last April that it would send the new weapon to Ukraine, as part of a new military aid program for Kyiv.

According to a defense industries source, 8 trucks will be delivered to Ukraine in the form of 3 batteries, each of which includes 3 trucks and the M-ACE system, which is an unmanned tactical anti-aircraft system, characterized by speed in detecting, tracking and dropping targets through sensors and radar and machine gun.

And this whole system is run by one person.

The defense site claims that this weapon has the ability to strike and drop drones moving at speeds of over 30 kilometers per hour.

This weapon provides protection against small, low-flying drones, and other systems may not be able to detect them.
