Preakness Horse Racing took place in the United States

Over the weekend, Preakness Horse Racing took place in Baltimore, USA with a prize pool of $1,500,000.

First held in 1873 and named after the stallion that won the very first race, Maryland races have traditionally captured the attention of racing fans in the United States.

In 2023, the winner of the Baltimore races became stallion named National Treasure jockey John Velasquez.
