Team India got a new kit sponsor, now the logo of this company will be seen on the jersey

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Adidas as its new kit sponsor. Board’s secretary Jai Shah gave this information through a tweet. The next time Team India takes the field, the adidas logo will be on their kit. At present, the players of Team India are busy playing IPL. After the IPL, the Indian team has to play the final of the 2023 World Test Championship (WTC Final). In which they will compete with Australia.

Jai Shah tweeted, ‘I am happy to announce the partnership of BCCI with Adidas as the kit sponsor. We are committed to growing the game of cricket and are excited to partner with one of the best sportswear brands in the world. You’re welcome, Adidas.

Shah didn’t reveal more details about the deal, but it was previously revealed that Adidas would be replacing Killer on a five-year deal. A BCCI official said, ‘The work on the contract is going on. But this time the amount is expected to be more.

Earlier, Killer had replaced MPL on the jersey of the Indian team. MPL wanted to terminate his contract which was to end at the end of 2023. MPL was paying a royalty of Rs 65 lakh per match to the Indian board for this sponsorship and Rs 9 crore for the three-year deal. Later, when Kilar replaced MPL, he signed a 5-month deal. Killer is known as a jeans brand.
