ARMYs quickly tracked down a reporter who leaked video of the couple strolling through Paris at night. He turned out to be a Frenchman named Amar Taualit (Amar Taoualit). The man accidentally noticed K-pop idols under his windows, so he grabbed his smartphone and filmed before they got away. The quality of the filming leaves a lot to be desired, but if he was racing for professional material, he could easily miss the celebrities.
The photographer posted some clarification on his personal blog – it turns out he had shot the video on May 15 and only posted it on the 17th. Amar explained that this was done on purpose not to highlight danger the stars of the world and unnecessary attention in Paris. There are cases when fans after a few minutes ran to where their idols were.
Additionally, the reporter promised to post the original video without background or romantic music. If you turn up the volume to maximum, you can hear Tae Tae and Jennie whispering.
