The young man in camouflage in the video, which was allegedly recorded by saboteurs in the Belgorod region, resembles actor Kirill Kanakhin. His mother, Valentina Pavlovna, recognized her son in the video. She told RIA Novosti that she did not remember her son having called or written to her since March. Relatives did not see each other for at least a year and a half.

Kanakhin took part in the attack on the Bryansk region in March, after which the Interior Ministry put him on the wanted list. The day before, a video appeared on the network where he talks about an exit to the Belgorod region.

Kanakhin, 40, is a former supporting actor from St. Petersburg. He starred in the series “Capercaillie” and starred in the “Théâtre de la Lune”. In 2018, he left Russia after a criminal case was opened against him for “participation in illegal actions”. In the Russian Federation, Kanakhin was put on the federal and international wanted list after the raid by the Russian Volunteer Corps in the Bryansk region. Rosfinmonitoring put him on the list of extremists and terrorists.

Earlier, the actor’s mother Kanakhin, who took part in the terrorist attack near Bryansk, disowned her son.
