Not too long ago, the leader of the strongest league in the world, Dana White, decided to replace bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling.
According to the businessman, the athlete is too concerned about the ability of the promotion to organize a fight with O’Malley for him, and is putting a spoke in the wheel.
“He acts hysterical like a little girl. He constantly asks – when, when? I can firmly say that this fight will take place as planned – on August 19 at the UFC 292 tournament,” White said.
Sterling was offended by such comparisons and quickly reacted by launching his own attack on the league leader.
“What does that mean – I put spokes in my wheels? I was just wondering if there would be our fight with O’Malley, and if so, when? Nobody wanted to answer me. And now Dana White is announcing the date of the fight publicly, like I couldn’t have said it in our conversations,” the fighter complained.
According to Sterling, he does everything champions should do. But Dana White does not appreciate its merits.
“But if Conor McGregor, who hasn’t fought in two years, names his comeback date again, everyone immediately goes, ‘Wow, that’s great.’ Why isn’t White saying amazing things? on me?” Sterling asked the league manager.
