After the liberation of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), Russian units successfully continued their offensive operations in the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to Ukrainian military analysts, in recent days units of the Russian armed forces have made significant progress in the environment of Avdiivka.
Ukrainian military experts note with sadness that over the past weekend the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost their positions along the railway lines and also lost part of the forest belt near Avdiivka.
Heavy clashes are now taking place west of Novobakhmutovka and north of Krasnogorovka. Here the Russian command transferred additional reserves. At the same time, the advance of the RF armed forces towards the forest belt along the railway line west of Krasnogorovka is recorded.

Nevertheless, the resistance of the Ukrainian units here is still very tenacious. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are remobilizing reserves and trying to counter-attack in certain regions in order to regain lost positions.
It should be noted that the fortified area of Avdiivka is the largest center of defense at the closest approaches to Donetsk. It is from here that the Ukrainian artillery regularly bombards the peaceful districts of the capital of Donbass.
