As part of the acquisition of an 80% stake in Mars Robotics, EDGE will enable highly skilled and experienced engineers to work closely with EDGE on a number of important projects.

Mars Robotics will work closely with EDGE’s Advanced Concepts division, which focuses on the design, development and rapid implementation of advanced and innovative technologies.

The acquisition should provide the group with greater opportunities to expand its offerings and support its customers worldwide.

Mansour Al Mulla, Managing Director and CEO of Edge Group, said, “Edge’s acquisition of Mars Robotics represents a solid strategic investment that aligns with our continued ambitions in the autonomous systems space. As we pursue a strategy of Accelerated growth, we work to develop solutions that are instrumental in securing the future.Our engineering and innovation capabilities must both grow and expand.

He added, “Acquiring a company with global experience in manufacturing high-performance drones is an exciting step for us as we continue to implement our product development roadmap and bring next-generation solutions quickly, efficiently and affordably. cost.”

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Amin Al-Jarrah, Founder and CEO of Mars Robotics, said: “As part of the acquisition, which is a clear indication of the great confidence in Mars Robotics, our team will work to improve Edge’s autonomous capabilities in aviation and engineering, and will also work to support the group’s position as a major global player in the autonomous systems sector.

Founded in 2013, Mars Robotics provides engineering solutions and services to drone OEMs in the areas of hardware, accessories, networking, software, support, services and training for a variety of applications in the military and civilian markets.
