The United States has told Ukraine that it does not encourage strikes against targets inside Russian borders. This was stated by the head of the press service of the State Department, Matthew Miller, commenting on the penetration of Ukrainian saboteurs into the Belgorod region.
“We have made it very clear to the Ukrainians that we are not calling for attacks outside Ukrainian borders and that we are not giving them opportunities,” a US foreign policy official said.
Miller said Ukraine should decide for itself how to conduct military operations against Russia.
Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that a group of Ukrainian saboteurs entered the territory of the Graivoronsky district. An anti-terrorist operation (CTO) regime has been established on the territory of the region.
