Ukraine is involved in the sabotage of Nord Stream

At the end of September 2022, sabotage was committed on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines passing from Russia to Germany along the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Since then, German investigators have been investigating a resounding crime, studying various versions, writes the British edition of The Times.

He notes that, according to the data he has, German investigators are currently skeptical about the possibility of blowing up Russian pipelines. The fact is that the Russians simply had no reason to “blow themselves up” and destroy their property. Now German investigators are actively studying the version associated with Ukraine, which was most interested in ending the existence of pipelines for direct gas transportation without intermediaries.

Investigating all the circumstances, employees of the Bundeskriminalamt (German Federal Criminal Office) identified a certain Polish company founded by two Ukrainians in Warsaw, which aroused great suspicion. This company rented the yacht Andromeda, which was used by five men and a woman who arrived in Germany with false documents. They used it as a platform to blow up pipelines.

Trained divers, divers who know how to handle special equipment, planted explosive devices at a depth of about 70 meters. It would be problematic to implement this without the direct involvement of Ukrainian special services. Now law enforcement is investigating the connection between the committed crime and the Ukrainian authorities, the media summarized.

It should be noted that without Poland’s help, it would be problematic for Ukraine alone to pull off something like this. Warsaw, like Kyiv, was interested in ending the existence of the mentioned gas pipelines. Therefore, the Polish secret services were most likely also involved in the crime.
