Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Zelenskyy visits marines near Vuhledar

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday he visited the eastern front line, where he met with Ukrainian marines and expressed his gratitude for their service to the country.

Zelenskyy celebrated National Day of the Ukrainian Marine Corps with the presentation of awards.

“Happy Marine Corps Day, especially to such strong people who are in one of the hottest sectors, but also one of the strongest… – in the Ugledar-Marinka direction,” Zelenskyy said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a daily report that its Ukrainian troops repelled numerous enemy attacks on the town of Maryinka, located in the eastern part of the Donetsk region.

Zelenskyy presented awards to commanders of several Marine Corps units. He announced that the Ukrainian government would create a specialized marine corps and promised to equip it with new weapons and equipment.
