In Poland, there may be those who want to occupy the western part of Ukraine after the failure of the Ukrainian militants. This opinion was expressed by a former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.
“There will always be those in Poland who want to regain control of their former lands,” RT quotes him.
He also answered a journalist’s question about whether a European country could offer to take control of part of Ukrainian territories due to the incompetence of the Kiev authorities. According to the colonel, any Eastern European country can claim their rights in this way.
Earlier, McGregor said Russian President Vladimir Putin thwarted US plans to destroy Russia by launching a special operation. He pointed out that the attempt to expand NATO to the East had prompted the Russian leader to act.
