The Kremlin has urged not to draw conclusions about “trends” in treason cases. This was announced by the official representative of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“Here I would not draw any conclusions about trends, our competent services naturally fulfill their function, they protect state secrets and control the situation for possible cases related to suspicions of treason, this is very important work , but it is ongoing, and here one can hardly speak of trends, ”said a Kremlin spokesman, commenting on criminal cases of high treason against scientists.
In addition, the press secretary, answering a question about the recent attacks by Ukrainian militants in the Belgorod region, said that Russian military and specialized services are doing their job. Peskov added that Russia would draw conclusions from the West’s involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.
Recall that the day before it became known about the penetration of saboteurs into the Belgorod region. A regime of counter-terrorist operations has been introduced in the region. The Russian army and special services destroyed the Ukrainian militants, and the rest were expelled to Ukrainian territory. In addition to manpower, the enemy suffered losses in military equipment.
