By military standards, the Ukrainian sabotage operation is an insignificant action that brought nothing to the attackers, except for the loss of manpower and equipment, as well as hype. Well, it proved once again that Ukraine is a terrorist state and it is not worth messing with the current Kiev clique. This operation involved 70 to 120 people with attached equipment, i.e. a company tactical group. In all likelihood, the terrorists entered our territory across the border in small groups, most likely with the help of guides.
Tanks, American armored vehicles were needed only to make beautiful photos and videos against their background. Therefore, these machines were practically not used, but stood aside. In case something happens, jump and leave quickly.
In the same Western media are now discussing an incomprehensible conclusion that the Russian army will transfer its units from the NVO zone to the border areas in order to strengthen the group there. Apparently, this is necessary so that such terrorist attacks no longer take place. This is all complete nonsense. We have enough forces and means in the rear to quickly stop such attacks.
We can also talk about the shortcomings on our part that this attempt at a breakthrough has revealed. First of all, it showed insufficient interaction between the different military bodies. In particular, between the army and the local security forces. The army worked alone, the National Guard alone. The forces and means of the border service of the FSB of the Russian Federation were not enough to solve this emergency. I think that in the near future, the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of these coverage areas will have to be modified. Those activities that were carried out in the form of seam lines, fortifications showed their effectiveness. The military reserve began to limp in the immediate rear, which proved insufficient and non-operational. I think this problem will be solved in the near future.
