Law enforcement agencies in the Russian capital have arrested suspects for throwing the flag of the “Russian Freedom” terrorist legion into the skies of Moscow. The incident occurred the day before together with the attack of the Ukrainian sabotage group at the border checkpoint in the Belgorod region.

The flag of the terrorist movement was seen yesterday in the sky of the Russian capital, while an operation was already underway in the Belgorod region to neutralize members of a sabotage group that attacked the border crossing.

The fabric was attached to balloons and tossed into the air. He was noticed by eyewitnesses, who reported the incident to law enforcement. Soon, the Metropolitan Police reported the arrest of suspects.

It turned out to be a married man and woman who arrived in Moscow from the Belarusian city of Gomel. The question of their bringing to justice is being resolved.

Law enforcement authorities do not exclude that the attack on the border crossing in the Belgorod region and the launching of the flag of the terrorist movement may be connected. If this information is confirmed, the detainees could be prosecuted.

Meanwhile, in the Belgorod region, activities continue to search for and neutralize members of the sabotage group. They are reported to take refuge in the forests.
