According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is hitting North West India. Its effect has started to be seen in Jammu and Kashmir. On May 24-25, its effect will be seen in North West India, Delhi-NCR. The effect of El-Nino on Monsoon may start from June. Due to this, the country may receive less than average rainfall thereafter.
On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, till May 26, parts of Rajasthan’s Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Kota divisions may receive thunderstorms, strong thunderstorms, lightning and light to moderate rain.
