Margot Robbie helped Ryan Gosling transform into a Ken doll on the set of Barbie. The 32-year-old actress became the heroine of the new issue of Vogue magazine and, together with her partner, gave an interview to the magazine.

“Every day on set, she left a pink gift with a raspberry Barbie bow for Ken. They all belonged to the beach. Like seashells or a ‘Pray for the Surf’ sign, Ryan said.” Because Ken’s job is the beach. I never quite understood what that meant. But I felt that she was trying to help Ken understand through these gifts that she brought.

For his part, Robbie praised him for his deep dive into the role. “The best version of Ryan Gosling to ever appear on screen,” Margot joked. Barbie hits theaters on July 19.
