Patrushev met with a colleague from Syria

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev had a personal meeting with the head of the Syrian National Security Office Ali Mamluk. It was about how the cooperation between the authorities in Moscow and Damascus is going. This was reported in the press service of the apparatus of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

“The meeting took place during the international forum on security. These days it is taking place on the territory of the Moscow region. The situation in the Middle East, the development of Russian-Syrian relations, as well as issues of the fight against terrorism were discussed,” the report says.

In addition, Patrushev also met with Secretary General of the Security Council of the Sultanate of Oman Idris al-Kindi. They talked about the problems of the Persian Gulf and the Middle East.
