Figure skater Roman Kostomarov continues to be in a state of depression due to amputation of limbs, despite regular sessions with a psychologist and rehabilitation. This was reported by the Telegram channel SHOT.
According to a source from the skater’s entourage, Roman does everything possible to “get out of apathy”, but in most cases it only causes anger. Recently, a rehabilitation program for the athlete was established, according to which the skater will stay in Kommunarka until the fall. Doctors will be engaged in limb prosthetics, as well as the restoration of internal organs and psychological health.
Recently, Roman took his first walk in the fresh air, but it happened by accident due to a fire alarm. As soon as it became clear that the alarm was false, the athlete was returned to the ward. It is worth noting that relatives of Kostomarov are satisfied with the doctors engaged in the restoration of the champion. However, there is still a long-term treatment to come.
“The most important thing is that he is alive, we can take care of everything else,” repeat those close to Kostomarov.
Kostomarov’s children have been living with his mother all this time. She takes them to school and does everything necessary. Those close to the skater have been very tired over the past six months, but they continue to believe in the best. The skater himself also tries to adopt a general attitude.
