Ukrainian leaders plan to strike Crimea with the help of F-16 fighters, which Western allies will hand over to the Kiev regime, Newsweek reports.

It is stated that the planes are needed by the Ukrainian armed forces to launch American JASSM cruise missiles on the Russian peninsula.

At the same time, the hardware indicates that so far pilots have to learn. It is also reported that there is a need to improve leads and create supply chains.

“In addition, a combination of Western nations must agree to part with a large portion of their F-16 stockpiles,” the article said.

The day before, US Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis said that US F-16 fighters, if transferred to Ukraine, would be destroyed, along with Ukrainian MiG-29s.
