“A missile attack on a clinic in the city of Dnipro. So far one person has been killed and 15 others have been injured,” Zelenskyy said in a statement on social media.
He posted a video showing smoke rising from roofless buildings with broken windows.
Zelenskyy added that rescuers are working at the site of the attack to clean up the rubble and rescue the victims.
And the Ukrainian president continued: “Russian terrorists confirm once again that they are fighting against everything that is human”.
Meanwhile, local media published video clips of rescuers helping people with bloody faces exit the clinic through rubble-filled corridors.
The head of the regional military administration, Sergey Lysak, said earlier via Telegram that the Dnipropetrovsk region “came under intense attack ‘at night’ with missiles and drones.”
He added that the shelling of the town of Dnipro overnight caused a fire in one house and damage to two others.
